What changes would you accept on an oldschool server?

Good to hear someone is going to listen the players' advices.

I honestly love cap 80 CH servers which is the best balanced cap so far so I give you suggestions:

- HWID and IP limit reduced to 3 and reduced to 1 during FW time
- "job-based server", we don't want "coin-based" server... that doesn't mean you shouldn't have coins at all, but build your server up for trading, instead of dropping random talismans from FGW - that's so boring
- add sos (+1 better than last items) and som (+2 better than last items) - sos can be dropped by job cave, som can be dropped by special unique(s)
- som head, chest, legs and earring, necklace can't be traded to avoid cheating
- all of stacks up to "10.000" and 3 pages of inventory added automatically
- trading routes can be special and give some innovations for Fortress War (it's your mind)
- auto equipment from degree 1 to 7
- hard alchemy, max pimping to 9
- a lot of events for silk rewards

Dont worry so much about what the community wants, they dont know. just pick something YOU like and stick with it.

Honestly, I would give more attention for hard alchemy as I said max to +9. I will answer to you the reason why I think it'd be the best rate.

+9 sounds not too much. But if a new player would like to join after 1 month, they will probably check the website who is the best and what items he has. I think it's positive if he took a watch everybody has items around +7/+8/+9. Give more confident to give a try in this server. Old school server so I hope the exp rates are not that high, but I honestly would give 200k sp for the beginners to attract the players to join here.

1-CH Only With Samarkand having Mobs Lv60~80
2-Exp Rate x4 ( 3 weeks or a month for lv80 )
3-Start SP 20k
4-Make a new NPC for daily Quests providing new Quests which gives Good Exp and SP
5-No Magic Pop
6-CTF every 6 Hours and gives the following
(1k HP+MP Scroll, 2x chance of Items Drop for 2Hours if possible to do, Elixirs, Stones, Open for more suggestions just don't put items in it)
7-Arena Every 12Hours for (Dragon Flag 5STR 5 INT, Sp Scroll, Reset Guild penality, Reset Stats, Reset Skills and 5 Arenas = 2Silks Not-trade-able Open For more suggestions)
8- CTF and Arena Items are not trade-able but store-able
9-Premium Silver and devil stats 10% ( Trade-able ) bought only with silk Also a 15% Premium Plus Plus not trade-able
10-low silk prcies
11-don't add new uniques
12-Uniques drop ( 5 Silk scrolls, Reverse, Elixirs, Gold only )
13-low drop rate
14-low elixirs Like ( 100 elixirs botting all day long )
15-Last tier items Sos,Moon drop-able from mobs and Sun Upgraded with Moon+7
16-Last plus +9
17-No adv Elixirs
18-No tablets ( useless )
19-Honor Buffs with I-SRO system but every months Honor Ranks reseted
20-Achievement system gives a title like the following * also you can choose any of your titles as you like *
(Reaching +9 gives Alchemy freak or smth)
(Hunting 5k of the same mobs gives you the mob name)
(Hunting 100 of the same unique gives you Slayer * Unique Name )
(Reaching Lv7 in job gives a title) as in Lv7 is the max level
21-Trade gives gold also a realistic amount of gold not to flood the server with billions
22-Each trade completed trade gives 2 Silks
23-Extend safe zone areas to avoid Thief in town bug
24-Astral makes failed item go back to +5
25-alchemy 1.5x rate or 2x rate
26-GMs team doesn't contain more than 8 members
27-GMs doesn't have in-game characters
28-Only 2 Events
~a Large PvP Event weekly with nice rewards for 1st and 2nd
29-Leave the Server open for new suggestions.
30-2 HIWD or IP Limit
31-a 1k silks Limit for Donation every month
32-No Auto-Equipment just leave the 1~60 quests which give Exp And SOM weapons
33-1~6Dg SoS Items in npc for gold
34-Raise Blader skills damage abit as it has very weak damage
35-SoS = +2 SoM = +4
36-Start Items
(7Days Grab pet not trade able or storable, 3-days Devil 5% stats, 3 Days 10% Premium, Blue And Red exp hand )
37-200% Exp&Sp Scrolls Available with Silk,Arena,CTF
38-Donating Title of choice
39-Zerk Pots not available
40-No false promises, No Open Beta or providing exact time before knowing that the server works perfectly fine, No Corruption, Good advertising.
