Why did this section become the new "Private Server Advertisement"?

Even if you guys or we all argue about this, nothing will change unless the moderators do something about it, let me just ask you, instead of doing all this thread which i doubt people even care of taking it into consideration, wouldn't it be better and faster just to pm a moderator to say/do or think about a fix to it?

Im on no one side, neither have a thread on there im just giving my point of view.

This thread was mainly just a question why people use this section the wrong way.

A certain server owner was offended, because he obviously fell under the category of people that cannot read and used this section wrong, so he desparately tried to prove his wrong actions to be right.

I am here every day and notice more and more people starting to advertise here instead of the advertisement section. It is none of my business, but something had to be said before we get even more unrelated topics in unrelated sections. Simply because a section does not have much traffic does not mean you can post whatever you want in it.
It is like washing your dishes in the toilet instead of the sink. Dishes don't belong in the toilet, nor do advertisement topics belong here.
