All the servers of DO are equal as it comes to hosts. They cannot afroad the risk of having some servers with more traffic than the rest because maybe something drastic can happen and everyone decides to play on USA West for example.

The fact that there's only one server for players to play doesn't mean there is only one physic server.

Do has a server that hosts all the server's a masterserver , this masterserver is devided into multiple server's at darkorbit so when anyone ddos the server thats gonna be hit on the masterserver , that means all server's get fuckt up like we all know, it won't mind if 5000 people deside to go play on usa west , it will be just the same until they run out of ram :)

I think no merge for now, they dont even know how to fix that laggs and buggs which are ATM on GE1 especially. Monkeys dont know how to merge servers ;)

the way i see it is: they will merge the servers without even fixing the lag and the bugs just like releasing new items and features into the game

They fucked up client hard, ofc they're useless. It's impossible to play on 2D unless you have NASA tier PC, and this game was so smooth few years ago xD

My NASA tier PC is a laptop with a pentium n2480 and 4GB rams, runs smooth as fuck.
