Can and has happened. However, due to BP's rather dire financial state, it is unlikely to happen to a high monetary value account. There hasn't been a banwave since the new owners took over, and even just before, botters were getting suspended for a relatively short time, as long as they had a decent spend. Impossible to say what will happen if and when they implement another large banwave. My guess is, if you spend some money, you'll get a slight suspension. If you're a full ship with no money spent, the results might not be to your liking.
