There's no real need because Map Fun can do it almost just as well.

And please don't revive old threads.

this addr was toggle open/close the last npc dialog box. so for normal this will useful to move from one area to the other. if u use it for storage or trade dialog then will freeze the game.. not actually freeze (DC) but only freeze the icon so u can unfreeze if u change the icon back to arrow :). need some tracing to client code to use this at storage and trade stuff. i had tried to move char xyz and mapid to the herbalist and open dialog box, but still freeze :(. if someone had any clue to do that.. pls share to us.

This is quite interesting...
I accidentally bumped into the same thing, and how happy I was... But, this really just opens the last NPC. I'm playing around with it, trying to change neighboring addresses... No success yet. And I think there won't be any success :(

We have already played with it. Its handy to use in a bot to check if the npc window is open but thats about it it seems. Best to find the code that uses it and make an injected dll which "uses" the npc so that the game does it propberly as changing the value will just bring up the window but wont actually have all the right settings.

Try to find code that uses that address or writes to it and make a dll to inject that can use it :P

Well, I have 64-bit system and that thing to find code only makes the game crash...

Oh, and BTW, if you increased that address by 3, the value would be 1, not 16777216.
1=0x00000001
16777216=0x01000000
Ummm.... nvm
