Well, the thread does say "collection of unique garments and weapons only for epvp", and the thread owner does say it's "private stuff I made". That's not really the case now, is it? It kinda makes me wonder if any of this is really his at all. It would be a shame if we found out that most of this stuff if not all of it was stolen or just ripped from somewhere else without credit. :(

My point was more that none of the edits are anything that amazing (they are fine but it's not like they are anything anyone else couldn't do with a touch of effort) and clearly state in the OP that they are based on copyright work. He took copyright work uploaded by someone to a different site, converted it and made it work in conquer and then released it here stating it was "only for epvp".

I'd be more inclined to blame lack of English skills or simply misspeaking rather than any deliberate attempt to mislead people.

Sure, you could do whatever you want. You'd be wrong but no one would stop you same as no one stopped this guy from posting sub-par rips from other sites which were ripped from official game assets and calling it their own.
