Riot allows you to attach yourself to multiple queues at once. I wouldn't overestimate Riot.

In certain cases it is possible to speed it up and start a que about 30 sec sooner (from what ive been able to test, but only while in parties).

Been able to speed up by 3 min, but had someone in my party. just try lettin it count out the last 2 min or so and should be fine.
