Archeage lite mod pack

Like to say thank you Lucifer^PDX for a simple yet great way to mod the game. Good to see its free but limited.

ok i did all steps placed it in right folder started the program found the game pack hit center button but seams like nothing happens and i dont see change in game at all what did i do wrong i did all steps in the read me ???

to see if the mod is working is right after you log in, but before you select your toon, there should be a movie that plays. If the movie ends after 1 or 2 seconds, than the mod worked.

It is only limited because its all I personally did, I also used plox's pack and didnt want to include anything that he specifically added, being that it is his work, not mine =) the only overlapping things between my pack and his are things that I had already put together before I got his mod.

I will say that I was able to find a total of 4 Black Pearl spawns the first day and 1 more today so far. Talk about an easy money maker. :3 I've noticed that they tend to spawn near the same spots. Hmmm... :)

I installed the mod and the clear water and red line for treasure works fine, however, all HP bars, mine, my mount and the enemies, are now black..any idea why?

that is part of the UI change that he made

Well is there a way to change it back to the red? Black on black makes it really hard to see any damage.

You would need to use the tool to extra from a clean client the original UI and then reload it back. If you have the PTS installed, just simply extract from there, or always just keep a backup.

thanks ploxasarus, i'll give that a try, it's just REALLY difficult to see if you are taking damage with a black health bar on top of a black background, i feel I may die alot without ever realizing i need to heal! lol

P.S. What is the PTS?

Well I extracted the default HUD and replaced the mod one with it, then installed the mod and my Green HP bar is back...unfortunately, the foggy water is back also. So I guess I can either have clear water OR an HP bar I can see...but not both, oh well.

Also, could either of you, OP or Plexasarus possibly tell me what program you use to edit the files? I would like to give it a try and see if I can modify the thunderstruck tree's to make them more visible like you did with the chests. :P Thanks.

Edit: nvm, my bad...the ocean is still clear under water, I tested it in a lake and it was cloudy, so the fog in the ocean is still gone :)

Well I tried using autodesk 3DS max to open the files, but that did not work, can either of you guys give me a heads up on what program i need to view and change these files? Thanks.

Well I think i may have gotten it, unfortunately, as rare as thunderstruck logs are to come across, may be a LONG time to find out if i made them more visible or not lol

Well I tried sending private messages to lucifer^pdx and ploxasarus, but for some reason none of my PM's seem to be sending :( Anyway I can talk to either of you?
