1) Did anyone even check this? What's with you guys and posting placebo bypasses? Five seconds with this and you could tell it's obviously psapi.dll from Windows Server 2003. The only reason why it "works" is because the files get overwritten by the hackshield updater before hackshield even loads. The end result of this "bypass" is absolutely nothing (even less than the other placebo bypass). Even if the files don't get updated, for Christ's sake, it's a system library for a completely different OS, like hell it'd work. Check Ehsvc.dll.

2) I didn't know Microsoft was an Elitepvpers' member. That rocks. Seriously, give credit where credit is due though. If Microsoft is making bypasses for you guys, they deserve the credit.

3) If you're going tout the bypass as an original work, at least take a look at the files and make sure the thing works. Quality control isn't hard, you know.

I see you virus scanned it. And? I'm not sure if there's anything special regarding your "just extract all the files into your HShield folder and overwrite all if it asks" since it's just going to get overwritten after the hackshield updater runs.

How about you take a look at the files? I'm going to be more specific- download the hackshield.rar archive, extract Ehsvc.dll, right click it, view the version tab, and throw a "wtf" somewhere. For even more fun, check the export table of both Ehsvc.dll and the psapi.dll in your windows\system32 directory. Afterwards, check the export table of the original Ehsvc.dll.

It's not really off topic. This bypass was used to show the quality of this site. I'm arguing how that was a poor choice.

As far as "proven to work", that's surprising, rPE doesn't need anything special to work. Why else would so many people have used it?

He never said that the bypass he uploaded was an original work, he said he was using it.

Uh, are you sure? Because if you were, you'd know that with those files, you wouldn't even be able to log in (again, files get overwritten so that's why it "works).

Sure, I'll take a guess. The only reason I can see for it "working" is enough time is given for them to inject whatever while hsupdate is running and updating the files before hackshield actually gets loaded.
