navicat is what you use to go threw your db. how does it work? first set up your server with mysql running on green light with it connected to your db mysql will require you to input a password and user name. NOTE: remember the password and user name you use as navicat requires it to access the db.
now once thats done install navicat open it and click on connection button in the top left corner then click mysql. next add a connection name (whatever you want it to be called) then fill in the password & username you used when setting up mysql then hit ok. next click on the connection located on left of screen it will open up more tabs click on the one named my and it will bring up ur db.
