Afaik the DMAPS are just there to tell the client where something of interest is and what it is. I don't think it includes the informations for the walkmesh. About the person walking through the wall... it is probably some kind of desynchronisation.
I had it happen to me once in a while. It is a funny thing i can't trigger on purpose though. It mostly happens when you are two clienting and switch between both clients a lot. If you do this while lagging you get a chance of desynchronising withouth the server noticing.
For example, ppl are stacked up at Basipit. I was there with two clients. On one i was casting stigma, on the other i was just circling. The one circling was the stacks tank, preventing the others from taking damage. And after a few switches, ppl are misteriously dying.
The Client with the FireTao still showed me as being on top of the stack. Hence, even the coordinates were correct. But when i switched to my Water Tao to investigate wtf was hitting me there... i saw the tank standing somewhere else. About a whole screen away. I switched back to the firetao and clicked a bit to the left (to say it abstract, he was STILL standing on the stack in this client, but left to the left... maybe 2-3 fields).
I switched back to my water and saw the fire tao move... 2-3 fields to the left. But not to the place i clicked at...
So maybe this is how the Wallwalker did it. On accident.
