[All Sro] Pk2 Extractor with English Patch (Russian/Chinese/Korean/.. --> English)

yes , i open media.pk2 , actually .. i don't know if it needs to extract all of files? all ddj , txt and ... ? it's million of files :) or maybe i don't know what i am doing? :D

if someone have english pk2 , cna you upload it ? it would be easier for other people too :)

which sro do you have?

could you upload:
current sro_client.exe
type.txt and serverdep/silkroad/textdata/textzonename.txt extracted from media.pk2 (you can use my extractor)

His talking about the rSRO(Russian SRO) media.pk2. I tryed ur tool on that media.pk2 and it said the same thing to me. Ur tool cant recognize the russian language and to change it to english.

i didn't check any russian client because AFAIK it was just released

nope. this just activates the build in english language
it does not manipulate packets or the client. (this is why it is save to use ;-) )

which file contains the country files? and which file is the equipment display file?

try to run it as admin
or check if media.pk2 is read only (rightclick->properties)

it was checked read-only. Theres no admin in my pc i think :P. Maby becuz i got Windows7?

isn't there an option "run as admin" in contextmenu anymore?

oh now it's works. ty. I needed to uncheck "read only" in media.pk2 and run ur program as admin. =)

it's easy to patch madia.pk2 yourself with english version....you just need an extractor and microsoft excel from microsoft office
u extract all text data from there and you import it with excel then it's there an option to separate in every column by {tab} key how it's in pk2 and voala, every column it's separate u just delete some column to be first column english version and voala...english pk2 in 5min by yourself

no offense about your tool, it's pretty but it's other feeling if it's made by yourself, if you get my point
