WoW Server 1.2.1 - 1.2.4 For Lan !

do i have to make a copy of the whole WoW directory? i dont want to just overwrite everything... can i have a lan folder and an online folder? ^_^

i think i'm confused... does this allow me to play on lan with version 1.2.4? i copied the file over and ran the program... what is supposed to happen.

s17ence, I think you are a bit confused...aye? :-]
its just a server emulator. you don't need to copy your client files for a backup or something like this.
config the server and edit the realmlist.wtf (what the fuck) file of your client. then your client will be able to connect to your server (not to the blizzard's one) and you can play on LAN

question: would have to delete my currently installed version of wow to do this. i want to be able to play on lan but also play online. so i was wondering if i could install wow again to a different directory and not have it automatically update to version 1.4 (is there a way to force wow to stay at version 1.2.4?) i have all the patches from 1.1.2 to 1.2.4 if needed. and i understand how to get it going once i have a clean install of 1.2.4, which i don't know how to do yet. does anyone know what i mean or know how to do this?

SOOOO i'm assuming there is no way to have 2 different versions of WoW on your pc at the same time... just assuming since no one answers!########!#!#
