Ban Wave

however as of how much we thought to know:
riot had hackers working for them. they wrote programs which allow it to detect users using scripts and bots due to the high amounts of commands they send (like clicking 1k times the same spot on the map in a second). riot fired one of them and he leaked that. then they activated it . . . months ago?? . . . to ban users now xD? kinda strange

they have some huge ban waves / 2 weeks,

botted accounts get permabanned, they use the matchhistory for that no hard-/software stuff

even if only part of your account was botted in itemless games (for instance botted only to lv 10), no difference wether you bought RP on these accounts for real money

EUW atm as well? Or NA only for now?

League of Legends has an anti cheat since 4.3 I think.. Don't know why they're starting to ban now..

EUW aswell thats just an NA guy who asked why his acc got banned its not restricted to any region

Ye for sure, but sometimes they start banning on a specific server and continue with the others after.

There was a ban wave for scripters but there are not that many scripters.. only a very small amount of katarina players uses scripts.

People who didn't get banned yet and received the email will get banned soon.

Damn, I had hoped that accounts leveled by NHC would not be banned because the bots didn't play with normal people (and didn't ruin their gaming experience) but alas no such luck. :D

Yes unfortunately they banned accounts that simple were playing 24h.

Riot it's not so smart with this move since they could get double of purchases however it's their call.

Currently working in new bot to have mechanism that hopefully could avoid ban.

thats not true, also lv 5 accounts got banned which were played maybe a few hours they just check the stats and 0/0/0 + no items = quite obvious

damn also got banned..
