Hi,

I've tested hploggerC1 and got a Winsock Error: 10013
Does anyone know the reason for this? Does the .exe have to be put in a specific location? Does the game need to be installed in a specific path?
I've unzipped the bin and dll to lineageII/system and got that winsock error.
Im using win XP SP1
If anyone has any awnsers plz share.

Thanks for your time.

I had some problems with the socket in the beggining but since you haven't mentioned anything about that i belive it is not the case. Anyway, this is what i did.

Unzip everything in the BIN folder to your /lineageII/system folder (remember to use C1 or C2 acording to your client). Now you can either start the proggi now or you can run lineage and start the proggi BEFORE you enter char selection menu. If everything worked out, when you get to the char selection menu the proggi will print out something like "new server key received" on the console. Of course if you use a firewall (and you should) you have to give the proggi permission to send and receive.
After that you should be seeing other players life totals.

Yes, it's doing what it's supposed to do. If you can, you can always use the source code and tweak it a bit or add new features at your taste.

are you playing on offical server?

coz I play on privat and maybe is reason for not working in port (privat servers use other ports than officals ones

it also snif to wrong ip (it doesn't snif to server's ip)

about compiling: have anyone any compiled (better) vrsion of this tool?

Im usually playing on private C2 server.

The ip it displays on the console is the ip of your machine, and it makes sense, since you'll be sniffing the packets directed to you.

Btw, ckeck if you got the d3d8.dll extracted to the lineageII/system folder. Sometimes people forget that.

if you want it to work with C3:
change the following line in PacketProcessor.cpp
from
if(sizeGamePacket == 0x0c && newbuffer[2] == 0x00 && decode == 0)
to
if(sizeGamePacket == 0x10 && newbuffer[2] == 0x00 && decode == 0)
