Btw, dashboard.php not found.
Less.

I took existing classes from other sites and projects and dumped them into a chain of php files so there was something functional. I have no interest in hosting a public pserver lol. Just trying to get some of the features stress tested so I can work out final kinks.

PS: The dashboard is not enabled because it's not my content to show off. I stripped out as many features from existing scripts I was using to avoid showing off any features or content that I've done for others. Wanna make sure their sites shine, not mine.

Seems to work fine for me. Downloading from outside my network I'm getting a steady 7-8Mb/s download speed on the client. About 5 minutes for the full download.

Well sadly, i have 5x redux.exe '-' and non has fully completed.
I live in jamaica so maybe that has something to do with it ? :s

Cmd tests 0-2% time outs.

Edit: 9 download attempts

So, my computer is pretty fucked on my side so I'm gonna be hosting the source + website off my laptop for now. Should ensure that the server remains online so we can stress it some but be warned my laptop sucks so things may be a bit sluggish :P
There's a few things in my 5017 you could possibly take a look at regarding furniture, I had the whole system. Might not be the best, but its a good reference.

Just adding some more info to my issue, i downloaded this guy's client ^ and it downloaded in one go.

Awesome I'll be sure to check it out when I get to that pt.

Guy who wants the source intends to use new maps so messing around with some client edits atm then back into server side changes :P

<edit>

Phase 1 of testing has ended. Thanks so much to those of you who've checked out the server and filled my report table with bugs for me to look at :D

Lots of changes done and lots to go but the main thing we want to test right now is character progression though so I've wiped all GM statuses. Old items are still there but main focus is seeing if we can get some ppl to test out actually leveling in the server and find any remaining issues on that side.

PS: Updated client on website as of Dec 15th. If you have issues with new maps, make sure you grab the new client.

Ooh my bad. I turned off allowing external connections to the game server while I tested some new stuff.

Allowing other users back on now :)

Ok, finally got the time to answer.

That doesn't make any sense. If a customer pays you for a feature (or more) doesn't mean you can't implement it for yourself. In the end you are the who possesses the knowledge to get it working in the first place. I am working as a professional web developer for about 1 and a half year and if I had to follow that principle of yours, it would simply mean that I won't be allowed to create my own websites.

If I had interest in people playing on my server past bug testing I would most definitely be using some of the features I wrote and putting effort into writing a proper site but that's not the case.

Taking the exact website I built for them, slapping my name on it and hosting it when they plan to release their server soon would be pretty rude on my part. Yes, I could do it but it would still be kinda shitty of me to do.

Taking the website I built for them and customizing the content to reflect my server would be totally fair but would again, not be worth the effort and would be massively overkill for this test server.

This test server is here to give people an easy way to register accounts and download a client to stress test the server. Nothing more. Why would I put any effort into a site I have no intentions of leaving running for more than a week or two?

That wasn't my point. My point is that you said that you don't want to have it because you made it for somebody else. And I wasn't talking about an exact copy of the site, I was talking about the features.

And you're missing the point. I explained why I never added the page he was referring to and I then removed the link so that no one else would be confused.

Pretty simple I'd say.

<edit>

With commands removed I decided to open up more options for people to test. The Token NPC in twin city will now allow you to change your class and give yourself starting items/levels if you'd like.

This is not mandatory but if you wish to skip early leveling/hunting it will give you basic items (unique/elite items) and level 70.

NOTE: This will place you at the lowest job level, remove your reborn and all skills/profs. You will be granted profs for the new weapons you are given but this is so you'll be forced to test all of the promotion NPCs and report any remaining bugs.
