Wine alone won't solve for that app.
Mono must be installed, and then Wine is installed, but well, who got time? :p

I agree too, forcer helped him too :p.

you don't need to install wine to run the .NET binary, mono is enough.
10/14/2009 00:21 Necron33#25
Wine helps with mono, read here. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
correct me if i am wrong, please.
thanks forcer.

i said wine as that will run MOST things and as for mono ... i could be wrong but

Code:
apt-get install wine mono
or even

Code:
sudo apt-get install wine mono
depending on root access ....

before someone mentions yum codes this is asuming it is rexis13 since he runs ubuntu

also ... after about 2 secs of googling i find this for you necron

Code:
Dependencies are automatically tracked for applications in the archive such as Tomboy and F-Spot. Ubuntu comes with these two applications by default, and therefore [B]comes with Mono installed by default[/B].
that means ubuntu comes with mono already installed ....

hio77, was talking to forcer :P.
Was talking on a diffrent subject which is, Wine-Mono Bridge does a better perform than wine alone, as i've read already ^.^.

thanks hio77.

just fire up the console, cd to the folder where .NET binary is and run it with:
