If this is like those "kill bosses and get your items" kind of stuff , you should make a guide or a post to is so everyone will know.Because last time only few ppl knew and they got the OP gears and raped every1 alse and didn't let them farm it too.

Weapons and Armors are in NPC at GH with % Melee or Magic etc. Every Weapon got 1-5 Sockets. Armors 1-3, depends in the level :) You only need to Farm Boss Drops from Bosses and Spirit Stones from every Mob where you can level. Its based from low too epic ones.
