Why? Sure, before you reach lvl 6 Akali is just useless but after that it's possible easy to kill kata with akali-combos.

But @TE take Kata, more carrie potential, q, e, w, r, penta

Kata is more snowballish but it doesn't work as good as akali in higher elos

I definitely prefer Katarina over Akali! :P

Akali better than Kata for Soloq

Kata is imo better for carrying bronze/silver and low gold

if its between akali or kat ,its definitely Kat since good kat can pullof more plays than a good akali and win games :)

If looking for an assassin, Talon is the way to go.
Kata or Akali? Akali has better chase potential due to her op jumps and also will ALWAYS get back in to the game after a lost lane. Kata is superior in teamfights is she gets resets. But in my opinion Akali is better right now because you win games by catching people alone after 35mins to game and she is better for that. :)

This season I think Kata is quite better :)

Katarina it's good for lower divisions (Bronze / Silver) and can be easily counter (Twisted Fate / Veigar / Leona / Annie...).
Akali it's good but weak in early which means either you got some experience with her or to get feed :D same as Katarina it's easy to counter (Kassadin / Morkaiser / Veigar and many others...)
