Dude you forcing people to thank you won't happen. wake the hell up. i don't care if you're the best at hacking EVERYTHING Don't mean you should act so damn selfish because no user is giving you a Thank You.

To be honest, Dirty's Steve's initial preparing tutorial is enough for English reading, normal intelligent, non lazy ppl. If you ask for more,eg. troubleshooting for your own failure or an unnecessarily video tutorial, you have to ask more humbly. But of course, if it is unnecessarily, request may not be fulfilled.

When someone devotes their time and knowledge to help others free of charge, a simple Thank you is not too much to ask, however not giving one is completely rude, selfish and ignorant.

Actually, asking 'thanks' does not break any rule, read:
abusing the thanks-system is prohibited; you are not allowed to sell or buy thanks from another member, only give thanks for useful posts!

It is only not allow sell or buy. I believe the rationale is that the thanks stat has to be earn from public member interactions, for I see now that the thanks stat can be interpreted as a form of reputation.

Well, if admin/moderator has time, clarification is welcome.

Again, when something is given to another for free, a simple "thank you" in return for showing appreciation is not that much to ask for.

As you can see 15 people have thanked you, this was probably a mild exaggeration plus you gave it like 12 hours of time to get thanks, 12 fucking hours, some people refresh on the facebook topic 24 hours a day. This is pathetic. Fuck you sir.

Yeah what the above comment said. You have received you're stupid Thanks from fellow users now you should Re-post the tutorial or people just Thanked you for no valid reason what so ever.

And it's good to see people posting valid points to this guy. Heck i would of Thanked him but i don't thank users who request a thanks. The thanks should be earned and just because you posted a tutorial don't mean the whole world should come look at you're thread and Thank you... Seriously it's like you're asking for money for posting a tutorial but replace that with a Thanks... Damn dude.
