You don't run the file. You place it in the Conquer 2.0/ini/ folder, replacing the itemtype.dat file that's already in there. Make sure you have a back-up copy of the original file just in case though :).Quote:

try dropping an elite weapon in a place by urself and see if it shows up on the ground, works fine for me.

what exactly did you do, simply use winrar extract the file and place it into your C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\ini directory and restart CO.
Please change the directory according to your installation.
