[NEW] Crew member

Hello guys. Today i got this new crew member. How it excactly works, i dont know yet. I can show you this: 2014-05-09 19:56:02
Je hebt 1 x Segelmacher gekregen.

Je hebt 3 x EP-booster gekregen.

Je hebt 5000 x Voodookogels gekregen.

I got it on the open-beta server in a normal chest.
It repairs sails (For the non german, segel=sail macher = maker), and i automattically refils your best sails you have, so if you have enough level 5 sails he wil use them till the moment you dont have any sails left. After that it will start using your level 4 sails, or maybe level 3 sails. That's all i can tell for now :)

only in chest available? an only for some days? or until premium expiration?

damn if they put this useless thing out for money i swear i stop playing this game

LOL. If I had one Lei for every time someone threatened to "quit this game forever," I could buy Poenari Castle.

It's not like this item is going to turn the tide of the game in favor of those who own it. It's a total luxury item that is completely unnecessary unless you have everything else or you can't be bothered to go to your storage trove.

My guess, you'll get in chests or with pearls, and it will last as long as you have premium.

The Sail Maker – If you don’t have any premium, gold sails will be repaired at the usual cost, whilst pearl sails will be repaired at a reduced price of 33 pearls per sail. If you don’t have enough pearls on your ship, the Sail Maker will take what’s left and still repair the sails. If you don’t want the Sail Maker to repair your sails you can turn him off directly from the Sea Chart. If you have premium, there will be no cost for the Sail Maker’s services.

You have a chance of getting the Sail Maker by finding him in Treasure Chests (as an additional prize NOT instead of the usual Treasure Chest rewards). Each time you find him he will remain on your ship for an additional day, up to a maximum of 30 days. Once you reach 30 days, each additional Sail Maker you find will simply fill up the duration you have him to 30 days again. However, if you have premium, the Sail Maker won’t expire until your Premium expires.

but a thing that it is not clear. after repairing sails will he put them on ship?

small question for beta players :p is there a chat on beta ? Don't see a chat, pretty boring without one, yes I know I'm a chat pirate ^^

So? How we get it? Only from Treasure chests? or Payment also?

i think they will give it in treasure but for those who dont wanna wait they'll put it as payment

So, if I find 1 Sail Maker from 1 chest (which gives me him for 1 day), but aslong as I have premium he will stay on my ship forever...
Even if they do add this as a payment item, if the above is true, i dont see why anyone would pay for him.

agreed, but think of botters, this will be a "must" for them.(i am not including myself because i already have an automated way to repair my sails)
