What would you like to see in the future?

Also, just to mention, this thread isn't "pick one of the two options I listed". I posted this thread to gather everybody's opinions, not comment on my own :o.

Well since wiping is something that won't happen as PortalDark says you can find a way to verify - approve the server topics. So if a player wants to search for a professional server with plenty of potentials he can simply check if a Mod had approved it. For example you can add a specific post icon (A tick maybe, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]) to the topics you approve that only moderators are able to use . By doing this it will be easier for players to search for playable servers at the private sro section and it will also encourage every server owner to make a better topic so it will get approved.

Both ideas will be rejected anyways.. useless discussion.

If anything,.. add a few rules:

Min word count: 500
Max mistakes (excluding grammer): 2
Grammatical mistakes: 0
Min screenshots @ gallery = 30. Screens must be selfmade + watermark...
min 120 second introduction trailer/video.
Website & backlink.
250 posts.
4 year old e*pvpers account. (starting from 2010 basically...).

Add some of those or just all of em and since money is imporrtant... allow advertiment threads to be stickied for 100 €.

Then you'll see which private server projects are actually real.

If you need someone who checks all that on each new thread... I'm up for it. Might be a little biased against a certain race buuut you won't see crapsrvs ever again.

Well , That was the best suggestion so far.

Or just remove the whole SRO section.

They are so many haters here. It`s easy & lazy to "wipe" (destroy), than you should do what a good person should do (if they are & I`m sure are some here).

This isnt a fucking pyramid, i doubt alot of people would care about the "history" of the section.

So how do we make admins recognize these ideas? Is there any way to talk to them directly... explain the current status of the sro advertisment section... explain why it needs to be changed and what they would gain by changing it.

I'd like to have a proper conversation with them, if possible....
We probably just need 200 pages on this post to make them look at it.

Or make Portal talk to em.

I strongly recommend the admins to add this feature into the sro advertising section.

-Allow advertisement threads to be stickied and approved for 100 euros xD ( thanks to blablaryoal ) for suggesting this idea :P

This could genuinely be implemented. Since I'm an editor, I can check their threads beforehand for grammar and mistakes.

nah not approved for 100€.. just stickied. You'll be able to distinguish between serious projects and normal serious projects with that. If you really want to create a srv which will actually have a good player base.. 100€ is nothing. You'll earn that withing 1h after serv opening.

Whatever you tell the admins the result will always be the same, no pay2advertise, no wipe, nothing, let it fuck up to the end.

Just post it in Suggestions and wait I guess?
