But thats my point, you don't need the owner to tell it if its better to use tornado or fire of hell.
If theres only a single target in range, then it uses nado.
If there are multiples, FOH

If the AI is strong enough, it should be able to make decisions that the user could without even giving the user the option.

I am not trying to force you to take what I say and use it, just trying to open your mind to some more ideas.
all the misunderstanding was that you and _DreadNought_ assumed it's not "powerful" or "smart" based on me giving the user the option to set a default skill which won't be used if their is a logic implemented for that matter
anyway thanks for pointing that out

make Independent enough to choose his own skill to use. (using random skill of the attackable skills he have.)

make him crazy when he become powerfull more than his owner he betray his owner and goes for him self :D

Create a real AI with learning abilities and see what happens, hey, maybe they will try and take over twin city.
So you suggest he should do what nobody in the industry ever archieved?
IŽd love to see how you make an AI that can learn on its own.

Or you can make it more complicated, but easier for the players.
Taken from my own compiled list of ideas for my project.

Control the AI SkillUsage by using a skill on your own.
Make a new Spell called "AISpell1" make as many as you want.
Make the AI register what kind of skill to handle from "AISpell1" when casted.
Make sure you send "TargetUID" "X","Y". This means you can control where the AI is supposed to prioritize, on a specific target? Or a specific area.
You can make a skill named "AIDefend", click on a player. And make a code for him to prioritize that the AI has to Defend the "player" or "target" when being attacked for an example.

In my opinion there's no need to make it more complicated than so.

// Commands be bothersome

Having them type a command can be pretty disturbing in-middle of a fight.

// Multiple skills on AI
Having them switch the skills for AI to use manually is bothersome. What I would do is make a list of all the skills the AI can use, and then make the player manually put the skills in a order. The first skill in the list would then be the most prioritized. Also make it so players can disable skills or even write in their own "chance of activate" ratio. Make sure it totals at 100% though.

-Edit-

I did argue with what you said, but soon realized you're being very silly and I wouldn't respond.

What I meant by that is if you're talking to the AI as if its a real player and it would reply a logical answer, seen only on aco was multi that did it, just came to jail spawned it and asked people to talk to it on talk channel and it would respond logically.

Also bots that wud take over cities that's a pretty darn good idea, in fact I'll give it a shot when I get home lmao
