Turn off your antivirus and if your 32 bit get a unhidder.
Run as admin and then run s4 as admin.

I have Windows 8.1...64bit.

Ran as admin, hell even with compat. for windows xp sp3, with s4 closed.
Closes shortly after S4client.exe is detected...
