Hmm well remember this, the pirates were a new era because they discovered the use of gunpowder so if they used blades only it wouldnt really match the story line.

Why in the world are people making servers with different maps, different and new classes?

Ok i can see a couple new items, but major editing to the map and the client is just a stupid idea. Especially if someone can go in ur server and get 100kk cps in 3 minutes.

Well thing is they "think" they can do that but end up not making it or as for new class they edit 4 items and make new profession ID. And brag about gms only for new class.

I can understand map editing though.

new maps are exciting to explore
new classes are just for fun though, like look at ninja, in real co evryone has a ninja cuz the class is fun, u just go to bi and poison evrysingle camel lover

i mean seriously if your going to take this much times creating items and maps then why not create your own game?

im not creating them, yuki is, and im not completely sure about ninja, still will take 4ever to make on lotf, my original idea was just to have a pvp server with only tros, war and archer to hunt, but now since someone is helping me idk what to do.
Im probably going to leave it at a normal pserver but pvp, ninja will just be for staff, but theres really nothing to do on it besides the weird jump and the ninja stance with the weapons.
as for tao, im probably going to remove fire taos as they are annoying and leave water tao for rev in gw etc etc.
my original idea wasnt to have ninjas but they just popped in, but no i wont be using them for pvp or players.

Wow, this thread did give me a lot of ideas >.< Easy as heck adding new classes.. Client editing? Err not so much.. but you can put a npc in game to change your job..

Anyway why use CoMy >.>? None of the skills are coded.. Can't unless you wanna spend the time doing it + you gotta define database also and add all the things to that too :) Think it'd be less of a hassle to get a source with nothing completed..
