I wrote a few bots using autohotkey but ive never seen this program b4, just hot good is it, like to know b4 i start using it
Yes, I do it using a UDF (user defined function) available on the AutoIT Forums... ImageSearch, it is a set of functions that will scan a region or entire desktop for a matched image... and then return the x,y coordinates of it.Quote:
2 Questions!
Is there anyway to pick up items with auto it?
also im gonna say this is a no but it would be cool if im wrong but is there a way for auto it to select only defined monsters to attack?
Auto IT is much better in recent versions... and the people with AutoHotKey sort of STOLE an earlier release... and used to be part of AutoIT... the branch is not as high quality in my opinion... but I have been using AutoIT since back when all that drama erupted... so I might be a little biased toward the original, and still most innovative...Quote:
AutoIt and AutoHotkey are roughly equivalent in power, though significantly different in semantics. (They are both based on the same source code, explaining the similarities)
Well, the story is more complicated, because AutoHotkey is based off of an officially released version of the source, from a time when AutoIt was in development hiatus. I use both for different reasons-- AutoHotkey, as per the name, is much more effective at writing simple hotkey-related macros, whereas AutoIt is generally more suitable for large-scale bots.Quote:

i would really love to see a TUT on how to go about doing it. i have some programming knowledge so i should be able to get into it somewhat easy. If its anything like php or vb or html i should be able to bring out some bots in the future.Quote:

So basically, you get a screen shot of the word image your looking for... crop it to just the part you need,
(I recomend you do it while ALT is pressed for easier matching)
then you write a script that presses ALT and scans for the image with about a 75 tolerance (works well for my scripts)
If there is enough interest for me to make a TUT let me know and I will see if I have time this weekend...
let me tell you a few things...Quote:
hmm, ill start using it but what is really ticking me off is this itemdb.xml mod, im not only trying that silly friend summoning capsule thing but im trying to turn(for my friend in rl who has been with me since i started mabi) some of the standard foods into mana elixers, foods that you could get while dungeoning like slice of cheese or berry, or for when he gets to ciar advcin chicken wings, when i try to search the item file it reveals nothin regarding elixers or anything about summoning caps, i was wondering if someone could send me the actual file of their own, updated with the changes to it, or push me in the right direction regarding how its done. Thanks in advance.
I used to use this site for getting hacks/mods every single day for justabout every game i played, but mabi players seem to keep this site as the last thing on their sharing list.... =(
lol guess u didnt have time this weekend.Quote:

Depending on how good you are, you can do almost anything with AutoIT.Quote:

also would the autoit program be exact enough to be able to hit the minimize button on a window in the game?
