I'm not in favor of exploits, but some ppl think that a way to get rid of the massive amount of noob servers are to take them down with DDoS and exploits.
also, you MUST know the method of the exploit to make a solution
Please... stop lying to yourself lol it's not "to take down noob servers" it's more for " lets have fun destroying popular servers so their players come at our servers" or shall we call it : "playsro method?"

Exploits are good. They keep servers with inexperienced owners from getting big because they don't know how to fix them. Server owners who are experienced with SRO and running private servers in general know how to fix them.

Exploits are never good , you meant ddos (which is bullshit aswell anyway) , ddos can filter good servers from bad servers because nooby servers do not afford/have no interest in buying protection. To fix them you have to have a hint on how they work , and thats frustrating.

I know what I meant, I meant exploits. Usually DoS attacks on SRO servers these days (from what I've heard) are exploit-based attacks, not DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service). This means that one client sends a faulty packet to the server which can't handle it correctly and crashes. Server owners who want to spend time on perfecting their server wouldn't mind fixing these issues so the players have a better experience (they earn more money).

Sure, there are also DDoS attacks, but that's just a matter of having enough money and willing to spend it on DDoS mitigation.

Unfortunately DDoS attacks are way cheaper to execute than to mitigate them, in the end nobody wins from attacking other servers (remember playsro?)

Pretty sure their is none
