That's why it's blacklisted on most Anti-virus applications.

I know this defense and I know the owner and he bought
a server hundreds of thousands of dollars from

You are approving reliability of this service with just planning of switching to it.
Genius.

@op: this probably wouldn't work with the sro files as they have a special ip range requirement

I'm just asking how come they avoid them.
and btw if they got huge attacks they cant avoid..
Well, a company like joymax which being ddosed from other mmorpg games(FOR SURE), they should save the interface of the company, which means it must be protected with hardcore TBs of DDoS protection, they are running more than 25 server now, after the merage of servers.... The only reason why do they have lags now in isro its cause of moving the hosts to Korea..

Yep, that's true.. beside c'mon, like someone will exploit em, like someone knows the opcodes of original server files :D

It's not the bandwidth that's important, but the method itself. You can have 500 TB protected bandwidth, but it will be completely reduntant as long as your protection is bad. It's rather obvious that semi-big companies like JOYMAX are being protected by themselves.

I'm not sure you need opcodes to actually exploit something... according to that kind of logic, any exploits being developed at iSRO or the foreign versions of Silkroad would require the "hacker/bugger" to know them, and we all know it's not true. Unless by exploit you mean the packet overflow... which isn't an exploit anyway, just a vulnerability/lack of protection.

I'm approving the reliability with the fact that I´ve tested em and they were able to block Quote: "der hat 35k zemra und 50k baracuda geblockt".
Translate that to English.

if your all so suspicious, why dont u just try it out for yourself. Buy a larger botnet for 30 minutes and see how it goes.

06/14/2013 18:04 caine_neros#24
Well , I talked to the owner of this service and he told me that this can protect silkroad servers aswell ..
I did NOT test this service , I'm just trying to help with a cheaper DDoS protection ..
You can test it since it's not so expensive
Cheers,Robert

there is such thing, there are ip issues if the subnetrange of your proxy is lower (or higher, can't remember) than your server itself.

Try it yourself if you don't believe me

That "Company" is like a one man company or 2-3 man company basically. The dude actually knows silkroad itself... seems like hes a friend of chernobyl and an admin at ebx7...
