Range cannot be more then we have now in the game. Now we have MAXIMUM. It CANNOT be more then now.

no m8 it really used to work ,a couple of years ago,ships used to shoot from a crazy distance,they even shot from out of you visibility range,you could only see the cannonballs flying toward your ship,and your hp ,getting lower,yes,the super long range used to work,to bad it can't be used now :(

lol, old sf proxy given the opportunity to make the first shot from maximum range that has in the game. BP couldn't solve this, so they just expanded the possibility of putting the first shot. And now we have new range system. Everything is simple. It cannot be more range then now, because it is not spelled out in the game.
