Adding New Cluster

You aint making any sence to it. aah well what comes arround goes arround.

I only aksed for an small clue cause the source have 65K files in it.

But if you dont want to help then stay out of the thread. And if this is your way of helping then keep this in mind.

Someday you will ask for help on something and all we will say is look in the source and thats it. Atm i dont think you now what youre talking about otherwise you already have given an clue about it.

So if no one else is capable of this since we have over 100 Views and your are the only one replying on it i guess i will call it an day. I have been working on it for 2 days now and everytime i am thinking yes i got it its still not there.

First you have to change that the database server etc. reads the connection from the inis.

Its already reading the connections from the ini file.

Otherwise you aint aible to setup the first cluster. And then it wont show you the 2nd cluster.

all released files dont read the password from the ini

So you are saying that if i removed the passwords from the ini files i still can log into the game? Let me try that

Well tested it removed all the passwords from the ini and your right about that.

Hmm strange thing though
That on v14 i had no problems making an sec cluster but for some reason v15/v16/17 is with source controlled. Hmm i will check it out.

no the connection works with the windows auth.

Try it to a remote database ;D

So if i understand you i need it so that it reads the passwords from the ini file?
However how is that gonna help me connect to the 2nd Worldserver.

Cause i already have both databases up and running and both are allowed to accecpt remote connections just to be sure.

I can log in into cluster 1 and channel 1 i can then select char and log into the world
I can log in into cluster 2 and channel 1 but i cant log in into the 2nd world.

I have taken an look into AccountServer.cpp to see if i see something that could explaing what your are trying to say. However i still have no luck.

Bump anyone else care to share their thoughts on this matter.

Ke Velmore has givven it an try with teamviewer. Still no luck

Cluster 2 seems to be unreachable.

When i install the client on Server 2 i can connect to cluster 1.
But still i cant connect to cluster 2.

To see if the ports are all open i used telenet to check.

So from server 1 -> Server 2
Telenet 192.168.1.106 15400 Connection success
Telenet 192.168.1.106 23000 Connection success
Telenet 192.168.1.106 28000 Connection Success

This is still bugging me. I realy want to get this solved.
