Hey Sarah, I am trying to do the same thing you were. If you wouldn't mind I'd like you to help me get my lotf source and client to 5065 aswell :)
How is your server going btw? I noticed you needed help a few months back, just wondering how it's going :p

Back when I made this thread I was very new to making private servers and I wasn't able to find the information I needed, this was 100% due to me not typing in search exactly what I was looking for (I didn't know exactly what at that time) but I must say, having come this far I have developed a lot more knowledge about private servers and I would like to share a little of it with you in this post. First of all I would like to make it clear that my original question of updating a source from 5017-5065 is not possible. Updating a source is all about coding things into the source and the use of navicat to make it possible. If you are like me and learn best by researching and reading about other peoples problems then I would highly recommend that you have a read around the CO2 sections of elitepvpers as it makes a great study. I would also like to add that all in all, a 5017 source is better than 5065 binaries in my opinion, I say this because you can do SO much more with a source than you can with binaries and you might say to yourself "Well I can't code at all!" that doesn't matter because you can start simple by reading over the code that is already in the source folder. I don't want to write much more of an essay here so I will keep it at this lol. I am considering making a thread about all my research on CO private servers but I will have to have a search to see if anyone has already done so. If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will help the best I can.

SarahSxe or Mr_PoP or anyone! i need your help for the same thing, i want to upgrade the 5017 source i use (Re-UnitedCo) and the client i use (Client) to 5065 or more if possible ^^
