Aion + Windows 7 : Almost working!

apparently the reason it works now is because of the last gg update so probably other win7 versions will work too.

doesnt work on x86 rc :|

i think it only works on x64 OS ;)

guys i have the solution for that error you just need to create PlayNcLauncher.exe shortcut on dekstop then go to properties there you will find Target and game directory will be there (for example mine:"C:\Program Files\AION\PlayNCLauncher.exe") leave a space and type /GameID:PlayNCLauncher /StartGameID:AION /LUpdateAddr:nprotect.aion.sdo.com/locallist then hit Aply GL ;)

anyone found a solution yet for aion running on windows 7 rc x86/32bit?

i tried aion_nogg.zip solution, but it shows up a popup shortly after launching aion.exe:

"The installed version of DirectX is not supported..."

But I guess installing a direct-x 9 update on windows 7 is not a good idea.

lurkeras thank u very much!!!! works now! had the same problem when i installed windows 7 32bit and i tried ur solution and worked fine!

EDIT: Im sorry, only the launcher is working for me. If I want to start the game after gameguard update i get a bluescreen...

Yep, I'm getting a blue screen when launching as well, Win 7 32bit.

I had same problem, solved by disabling firewall (earlier by accident blocked client and its showed same error like your)

Also I had problem to run english client, got gameguard error solved by this fix:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Backup files that you gonna replace.

How I launch in Win 7 RC x64

Right click the Aion icon on the desktop and select "run as administrator' .. after that the launcher loads and the rest is cake ....
