How to make World of Warcraft ArcEmu 3.0.9 private server [Tutorial]

lol so in this case it is 3.0.9. But I trie other forums with other emulators and they never used the name of the package as the client version. :) So ill upgrade my client to 3.0.9.
Still got the question about updateing the server core. Is this realy nennessery? Or just in case you want to upgrade to a leter client version. (i'm so carefull because I had to do 2 complete new installations. Realy want to get this working once in my life :)

if you want to update the core, you can do so, but if you want to run a stable server you will not want to update them, the newest releases are always extremly buggy.
If you want to connect to - let us say - a 3.0.0 Server with your 3.1.2 Client, you have to configure your loginserver to ignore the build numbers by canging them to something very high at the value "maxbuild".
