Onnet USA (GC-USA) did it this time. Shit just got real.

Anyway, now their website is hosted in Tonga, where FBI does not have the legal jurisdiction to close the site. Or maybe some FBI calls and Tongese hosters will cause a reaction

Who knows, stay tuned for the next episode of 9D drama!

Weird thing is that play9d.com still redirects to play9d.to

The nameservers or whatever are still there.

They were 30min too late to seize it, and now that after the practical content which the lawsuit points to is removed, they can't do shit. So we control both domains, and they can't do anything at all but cry over their laughable income stats.

It's not the first time time we deal with law enforcement/authority agencies, it's like the 3rd time for the last 2 weeks alone.

Funny because, how could you know they gonna seize it?
So if I understood you right, you removed the content of play9d.com
before they were able to take legal measures. so play9d.com stays legal and you can forward it to play9d.to
Nice move you did there. But still wondering how you could now its gonna happen.^^

Called in the district court, and they said that the lawsuit successfully passed. From own experience with other games, we knew it'd take between 48 to 72 hours for them to reach ICAAN. Setup the NS update in 48, and the host informed us today about the ICAAN request, and they denied it as it was renewed and there was no content.

And no, play9d.com doesn't stay 'legal', it's just like the Facebook DMCA we were getting. The only reason they were shutting down the Facebook page was because we were using their copyrighted trademark marketing material.

We'll be fine for now anyway, did it for a few other games in the past month where the companies were way bigger than OnNet is ever going to be.
