Not really, C++ is the "better" language.

The main advantage used to be access to the .NET framework but this is useless now.

If you are accepted its bassically C# or C++, and C++ seems to be more of the reccomended option.

Unless you're planning on creating an AAA game or something in that direction it's more of a personal prefrence, on google you can find endless of threads discussing about it, everyone with a different opinion, but I think that you should just take a look at both of them, pick one and when you think you're to limited in one of the languages switch to the other one, by then you're familiar with programming overall so switching shoudn't take to long.

I'm sorry,I have to limit the amount of Autoit lovers in my section,Its enough hard for me to explain them how the code is working.

If you could doit in a NET language or C - you'll be fine.

You should really consider converting to .NET now. Or just try C++.

I think that you should have made the application program more complicated, it's too easy ;)
