Well.... adding 910000 to paiditem pretty much solved all my issues
Actually i do not need any buff in on_login script, suppose PaidItem entry makes all the work.

Now i wonder where i can find infos on these SMP everyone is talking about, and a lil LUA reference to learn enough to play with these new discoveries i made.

something like creating an NPC that sells HV pass (changing the date inside valid_time field in PaidItem)

Can i access the database from inside a lua script? gv() and gs(), how do they work exactly? i need somthing like a reference for these :D

no buff in on_login, item_code 910000 added to PaidItem table for the choosen account (expiration date inside valid_time field in YYYY-DD-MM hh:mm:ss.mmm format) and the magic is done: 910023 pass inside each character inventory, automatic buff, ticked and buff duration linked ;)

it's gv() and sv(), and i'm pretty sure they only allow accessing the character row...

I have this feeling i need something more powerful to build my toy. SMPs scripts maybe? :awesome: [smile warning: help request inside]

The fact is i am not sure the help thread achieves its purpose anymore. it has become 'gargantuan' (Elle Driver, Kill Bill FTW ^^)
maybe an 'help subforum' would do better.

It's pretty much impossible to find anything there (short words are ignored by internal search engine) and i believe senior devs don't go there that often, so most specific questions get buried in "i cannot connect" - "start_service, set game.open_external 1" Q/A

I posted 3 questions there, and... well.. i had to resolve the issues myself (took 10 days -.-') prolly they were noob questions but i still see Q/A like the one i just wrote

Anyways i'll post there in the future if nothing changes, sorry again.
