There is as well the option to use proxies, having that an IP ban wouldn't really work that well. I don't think there will be another mass ban soon, as they take their time to collect all the information about it to do it all in one.

i dont think they ban u unless u r unlucky, its very difficult to ban hackers cos they are in huge numbers already and multypying, just wait sometime untill ea catchs you.

Atleaset I used a VPN IP:Proxy and opendns to keep myself secure.

You think you are so smart at computers eh mate? Tell me what is the most common DoS attack that hackers used to perform on targeted computers? The other members please don't answer this question let this genius answer it.

as far as I know DOS attacks are used on websites not on computers !! and the most common DOS attack is that the hacker send too much data to the target website than what it can handle and then the website will not be able to do its ordinary job and then you will not be able to acces it !! i know all that and i am not expert at hacking !! next time don't judge other people before you know them, understand !

Ddos attacks can be done on "normal computers". All computers have server vulnerabilities (ddos vulnerability is 1 of them).

I don't know what you mean by "normal computers" because 1 server and 1 client computer are not so different as you think.

That's correct. But there is nothing special when using a DoS attack at a client or a server. It will make both of em useless.
