That sounds the reasonable action to do, not going for others work and crack them. Also if there was no value (AKA all bots were free) the bots would be shitty and no work would be put on them to maintain and do updates on the fly as bigpoint does them.
You can't make free what you think should be free... I also think food should be free, and I dont go out stealing supermarkets and giving away the food to everyone. If the world was rulled by "Robin Hoods" we would still be in medieval age.

I have no affiliation with L&P whatsoever, also I use a cracked version of them (not yours, I cracked it for myself), but I understand that I'm doing wrong, and I would not share that for free to guys that don't know how to do it. Knowledge is time, and time is money. Don't ruin others work just because you're not thinking it clear. Any software can be billed as long as it is original and done by you. If I made a bot, I wouldn't like to see weeks of work being shared for free. One thing you could do is:
Teaching members here how to decompile and remove obfuscation, and to edit the bot to crack it (3 little tutorials it seems). Sharing the final work is bad, as you're just feeding a community of leechers that don't want to learn, don't want to spend money, don't want to do nothing.. and seafight maps are filled with shiney hunters that are ruining the game for people that actually play. (probably there are now 80% of L&P Users with your cracked bot than original software...)

Thank you for your reasonable action, I just added #closerequest because another member some months old shared cracked version of nikkatheone's seacrusher, and his post was deleted... I wonder if ElitePVP admin board only protects those that have a salesthread here or not, but it seems reasonable.


To everyone: I could now crack you next versions, and at the same time steal your passwords on seafight (just adding simple code, etc, no antivirus would flag it more than it flags original version of bot) Dex knows its true. Don't use cracked bots if you value your seafight accounts... its just my 2 cents.

And to finish this "verbose", a big thanks for Dex for his honorable action of understanding that sharing cracked versions on the fly is only hurting the game, and not helping everyone. Want a bot to save money? Pay for it, help the developer that will be working all day to make the bot more safe. Crack it and share for free to make developer leave project (its not the first time I saw it happening), and no more updates for us all -.-

Basically, because I've not much time.
To crack a popular bot I need 15min - 1 Hour when it's really protected, to make a new bot without steal code from others, I think I will need more than a week.

I disagree with many of your statements about steal and crack software.
Not quite the same thing.

I develop for work, as well as a hobby.
I know that months or even years of hard work can be made free in a few hours.
It is part of the game. There is no way to prevent it.
I discourage those who would crack my software, selling it at reasonable prices. Sometimes it is important to give a value to the program based on its usefulness, not on your work.

However, it is only a war of opinions, that would not lead to any result.
It would be nice to live in a world where there is no hacking of any kind. Both music and films, both for the software. But it is not. The truth is that every second you infringe copyright of any kind.
The truth is that it's ridiculous and stupid to try to put some kind of tax on ideas.
The truth is that there will always be paid software , and without fail someone will crack it.

Now, I will stop to release my cracked version.
I don't play SeaFight, so I've cracked this because I had some requests and I think it is ridiculous to sell a cheat.

Be sure, someone else will crack it, and someone will release the cracked version for all, Despite all that you and I can say or do.

I agree with you in some of your statements. Still you must agree with me that you are only feeding the belly of tons of leechers and beggers like the one i'll quote below because I have an answer for him. Still SeaFight has only 34 maps with islands, and only in those its usefull to use a shiney hunter. If you crack software and if there is no value in the software, software makers (bot guys) won't make cash, and do you think NikkaTheOne or L&D will work so much for nothing?
If they were making this bots as hobbies, we would all be banned long ago. I noticed several upgrades by bigpoint, and before they could catch bots, the bots were already upgraded to bypass that security.... a hobby bot creator wouldn't do that. So I must say they have value in what they do.

I don't buy bot, I cracked it for me. And i'm no software developer... It took me some hours of Google Search to find out how to decode the protection, why don't you try doing the same? If you don't have money to buy the bot, either you don't work, or you're stupid to not looking how to crack it (I'm just calling you stupid cuz you called me Idiot). In both ways, you probably have tons of free time, so go learn something instead of leaching and begging for more. Do you go out in the streets begging for coins to eat? then don't beg for bots.
What you don't realize is that "Dex91 cracked L&D" was getting so rapidly popular, that it was appearing in search results higher than own L&D Website. Result:
Soon no new buyers for L&D bot. Soon no more updates for L&D Bot. Soon everyone using L&D Bot getting banned. Seems nice for you? Not for me. Just because you can't spend 1) Some dollars, 2) some time of your own cracking it, don't ruin the game to everyone. You seriously lack intelligence if you can't see that... People using old versions get banned. If a bot maker doesn't update it... the bot itself becomes an old version!

so if feeding you with lemons, instead of slashing your back and telling you to go get some on your own is the wrong action for you, you are totally wrong.
One thing is Bugs, those should be shared for free, as many of those are hit and found by merely luck... another thing is stealing bots and sharing them for free.

I have only 1 advice for you little beggar ceepti:
Go on Google, search for .Net Framework cracking, and you will find many solutions for you... Dex is doing the right thing not giving you more stuff.:mad:

I do not agree with some of your opinions ... one thing that you might forget is that not everyone has the ability and expertise to do the programming / coding / crackng / hacking.

You can not force someone to do something like that you do. Just imagine, if you are a carpenter, then forced to be / do the job of a doctor, what will happen?

In the real world, there will always be black and white, yin and yang, good and bad, and that is the reality of life.

My advice, do what you think good and do not blame others.

And to the bot maker, is the duty and obligation to protect his creation so that they can not crack / hack by someone else, so they do not feel disadvantaged.

You can't ask a doctor to be a carpenter, but you can ask a doctor to know how to clean his house, OR, hire someone to clean it for him. You noticed how seafight community in elitePvP is 90% beggars with less than 5 posts that come here to beg for bots? this surprises me, I think i'll leave the community for a bit as maybe i'm the one wrong here. Cracking and not supporting developers is the correct to do... if I were the maker of L&P, I'd make some update to detect if its crack or not, and if crack, to send BugPoint the username saying its a bot xD surely would stop all beggars ehehe

Try cracking SeaFight AntiStealth if you want real opponent. After you cracked it, share it here on ElitePVP and you will realize what I meant in first post by: If you cracked a different program, you would be scared away with stones from these forums. Ink's AntiStealth is 50€, much more expensive for any seafight player... pick up with that one.

when i start the bot, it says "buy the bot homeless" in a small window... and then the bot is closed.... why? :O

when i put this bot i login and then i get a message BUY THIS BOT HOMELESS so now what can u say 1.33 is not working anymore also
