Hi elitepvpers community! We (Helgo1506 & Premaider) present you our new individual patcher, today.
The patcher is in the beta phase, so please report bugs. It is developed constantly.
The patcher has been tested by us, it should work without problems.

Serverside:

Step 1:
Download the .rar file of the appendix. Upload the files of the folder 'Serverfiles' to your webspace.
Step 2:
Adjust the patchlist.txt - for example you want to add the 'root' files, you write 'metin2\pack\root.eix=pack\root.eix'.
You have to adjust 'metin2\' in this path. For example the folder's name, where is the client, is 'ExampleMT2',
then you have to write 'ExampleMT2\pack\root.eix=pack\root.eix'. But, in the download there is an example patchlist.txt
of Metin2.de, which you have to adjust a little bit. Now, adjust 'patcher_config.ini'
Functions of 'patcher_config.ini;
update_design: Here you can official update the design. The pictures in the folder 'data' have to be the same like the
'download_site' parameter of the patchconfig.
Locale: Here you can set the languages.
news_image_link: This is the new picture of the patcher. You can use .png .jpg .bmp .gif files. But you can't use animated
.gif files.
create_acc_link: This is the link to your homepage or your registration site.
download_site: This is the link to the folder, where is server_config.ini and patchlist.txt . This path have to end with '/'
Attention! All paths in the patchlist.txt are not allowed to begin with '/'
setting_exec: The name of the config file. (standard: 'config.exe')
startapp: The name of the .exe or .bin file, which start the game if you press the start button.
Step 3:
Pack your client in the 'metin2' folder. Warning: Don't rename! Then, if you open the metin2 folder, you have to see direct the all folders / files
like bgm, lib, pack and so on.

Step 1:
Move the files of the folder 'Clientfiles' to your client and adjust the patcher_config.ini. The configs have to be the same!
If you want to change the design, you have to edit the pictures in the folder 'data' in your client. But, don't change the names of
the pictures or change the pixel size.
