No, it works like the way i've said, he surely made something wrong.

Both drivers have to be set with the F11 option enabled and get arrested, if one is arrested before another just wait for the last one to get caught too, don't exit. Then when both are caught the race is over and you'll get to the screen for the creds reps and gold cards selection for both drivers.

It's exactly like this video but i never tested that way, exiting both drivers like he did on the vid, not sure if whith that way you can earn gold cards cuz you don't go on the card selection.
