no any source has not working with and microsoft or compotible system just your configrations may wrong

Right Click MsgServer and change open as
you write -wine to last of line
you must seen its working at 127.0.0.1 configred and if you configre your wine you can make non hamachi linux based conquer online server
there isn't any half-life clients in linux right?
but have servers

conquer online servers works each all systems if have all requed components
you can basicly work binaries or coemu at win95 with os2 pack .net for win95(not have 3.5 package 2.0 have just now)and you seen everything working cuz no any firewall :)
