Don't worry, one day, someone will care about your opinion.

Maybe.

And yet, you're the one trying to get me to be nice to people.

If my opinion doesn't matter, why the effort?
Oh noes, hoisted by your own argument!

Because, if I don't try, I'd be breaking everything I believe in. And also, it is not a contradiction. I didn't say your opinion doesn't matter, I agreed that one day people will listen to your opinions. But if your opinions will remain to be comments unearthing anger or irritation, then people will see less value in your words to the point that they will no longer listen.

Clearly stating that your opinion means nothing.

I think he just wants you to act civil.
Sadly...that would be a bit too much to ask for on the internet.
People just don't seem to care how they present themselves online.

Actually, I'm probably nicer online.

Even if that were true, what does that have to do with trolling here?

Seems like we have a myriad of one-liners coming.

Oh no, that was one line! The prophecy has come true!
Wait... but... this isn't one line...
IT HAS BEEN BROKEN!

You could edit it to be a horrible mess of commas, and thus, be a one liner, but prophecies tend to be proven false as opposed to being broken.

Actually prophecies are either defeated or fulfilled...

My "IT HAS BEEN BROKEN!" meant the chain of events that make up the prophecy. A chain is broken.
