if you have come up with this idea to get rid of goldbots. it wouldnt help.
c0z if joymax will sell gold cheaper than the gold companies do.
gold companies will eventually lower there prices too and still the g`bots will stay..
and as the gold is getting cheaper.. many people can now afford gold buying and it will ruin the game economy and will affect those non gold buying players.

and last.. to solve your problem use loader to connect easy and goldbots usually hunt on big major areas. try to find a small spot which goldbots dont dare to go. (this spot is mostly on corners or places near an obstacle)

I think you are right in that. but it has to be some way to getrid of them

Gold bots are not the main reason for traffic. Loaders are. You should see what happened after testosterone got out.

If you would have checked rev6 after an inspection you would know what I mean. 8 hours after inspection some server had over 2000 free slots. After testosterone got released (most popular right now). The servers filled up to the normal, just like before the inspection. The point is, with a multi client everyone is logging in characters to power level/farm them just to get graduates.

I'll explain what I mean. Let's take for example 100 people on the server plvl for honor points. 100 * (1 character to plvl + 5 characters that are being leveled) = 600 (+ any potential ress character if the main character doesn't have ress). Now, 300 other players powerlevel 2 of their other characters: 300 * (1 main + 2 sub) = 900 players. And it's not even all. Now add all the boters that wait for testosterone, so they can bot with agBot. Now the server are actually already filled up.

What do we learn? Do NOT blame Joymax, blame yourself. Because of lazy asses who can't make a single percent them self or do anything on their own there are so much boters. Maybe I'm really talking about this on the wrong forum, but this is the truth. Think about it in future. And gold bots would not exist if people didn't buy gold. Again, it's OUR/YOUR fault, not JM's...

Edit: To people that really think Joymax runs bots: you're total idiots. Sorry for being offensive, but you really are. Why the hell would they have own gold bots if they could simply reduce the server capacity? Players would lag less, traffic would be insane...

First of all you are blaming a tool THAT NEVER was the actual reason for traffic, traffic was always high (lets say after the 15th server opened)

If i remember it correctly you needed luck sometimes to get in and the only way people could multiclient was by the use of softmod or multiple pc`s there was no loader out there that was free and public to multiclient.

People blamed softmod those days and now you are moving the blame to testosterone, which is incorect, just because henk and harry can now run 2 more clients does not change that much infact the only thing that changed are probably more stalls and less goldbots due to free multiclient use.

Another thing are the botbans some people are scared and after inspection some goldcompany do change grind locations and move stuff to stallers that does take time even when its a bit automated that gives the server a bit more time to fill up.

I personally don`t consider harry and henk with their few clients a danger, while a single gold company is running 100+ chars, use Google to find out how many gold companies there are and you will get your answers traffic stayed the same server got more slots, did not change anything at all the only big problem it caused is goldcompanies not being able to login more clients so the need from gold off players increased at those companies.

To conclude this long and boring spam: If testosterone or any other free multiclient we got these days never got released, we would still be in the same situation as now the only difference would be MORE goldbots and less free grinding spots.

Just check the situation on Babel since that is the only server without a real goldbot ban and tell me if you still "should" blame testosterone.

I do agree on the fact we are the ones destroying the game, but fuck that since joymax does not care either why would i? i rather run few clients when i can so i wont have to buy gold.

So, tell me one thing. If the main reason of the traffic are really gold bots, WHY THE HELL didn't the servers fill up after the inspection, till the loader was released? WHY? You really think that gold bot companies use loaders? Just think about it...

About Babel. People don't get banned because players run their own gold bots, buying premium tickets. Babel is like a cash cow. Most companies don't even try to make gold bots there, nearly nobody buys their gold because players sell it cheaper.

For the trafic arnt the goldbots the main problem, they are too bt they arnt the main problem......i know ppl who are boting with 8 clients(and they are not from goldbot company or so) and there are many ppl who are using one time more than 5 clients at the same time and im shure who plays SRO uses moore than 1 client at the same time (i use 3 and i wonder how many clients of u ppl use at 1time). I talked with a turk that he helps a dunno what company that he pvlvl-s chars at lvl 89(7 chars at the same time-with his char 8)and after lvl 80 the company sels the chars and hes not the only one that makes that one. And there amre many ppl who are stalling with moore than 2-3-4 chars. So not the BOTS or GOLDBOTS are the main problems.......

So that is 1 example of someone that can run 8 chars wooptiedoo!
I know people that had 15 running, but what you guys are missing those are EXTREME examples of multiclient usage, while a small goldcompany runs about 100 not even talking about the well known goldcompanies.

How can you make a conclusion that a single player running 8 which is an extreme example IS THE MAIN PROBLEM while there are companies running 500-1k goldbots?

I seriously question some of you guys mental capabilities.

Lets make it simple
If Joymax banned all goldbots and created a way they couldnt make any new accounts or even login clientless do you guys (the ones that think goldbots are not the main problem) still think servers would be packed?
Do you guys have any single clue how many goldbots there are on your server? talking about clientless just a raw guess 60% of your server population are goldbots open your freaking eyes.

Your babel comment shows how much you really know about this goldbot problem, first of all we got level 90 goldbots on babel that are probably fully farmed to cap 100 due to the fact they been farming gold since about 2 years without being banned.

Your loader comment has few explanation i already told.
few things influence server traffic after inspection i forgot to mention one of the biggest is us europeans with a job or the ones that go to school are working/school at the time the inspection finishes, inspection usually starts about 6am or something so there is no way most of us can login when its done.
The traffic after the inspections are either people with some spare time (europe) or asians i believe since americans should be sleeping too arround that time when it finishes its probably 4am or something for them.

Basically the main traffic you see when a server opens are goldbots just pay attention next time right after an inspection watch how fast the server jump to 1500 and almost all of them are goldbots.

Basically each server has about 600-1k real players rest of the slots are occupied by goldbots and or multiclient usage.

I am convinced if joymax stopped the goldbots from being able to login even babel would be on green.

your saying that there are people running more than 5 clients, do you think that all sro players has a PC that can support upto 5-8 clients.?? lol.
to tell you the truth, if there are people who are having 5-8 clients running.. they're not so many of them. most people who play this game are from cafe's, office , home but not all of them has a high end PC that can support multitasking or whatever.
d0nt forget that gold companies are using clientless bots that allows them to run 15-30 bots per PC, and not even a quarter of sro population can afford to buy a clientless bot.!

d0nt forget that there's a large amount of unbanned goldbots in there and they log`in automatically with captcha scanner and compete against asians on logging in at that time while the west is still asleep.!

Anyway I'd just like to say I run a few extra bots for some money, i would run ALOT if I could.. but traffic is a big issue here..

I'm sure I'm not the only person who does / would do this. Company bots out, Player bots in. You'd still have your lovely server traffic <3

Gold bots are the main problem, but multi client doesn't help lol.

Joymax have Policy and they are strict to it.They have proved they do ban silk buyers,you stopped complaining about it,now problem is gold in item mall. :)
