Talismans

actually the situation is same or slightly better than WOW
if u are a WOW player, u might notice there is a new expansion pack coming out
which for sure, all old equips will be worthless comparing to the new ones
thats why market is ghost town right now, and everyone tries to get cash
but the difference between CO and WOW is, WOW clearly stated he wants ur money, and CO has the option for u to choose spending money or not
i am too dumb to play such a complicated game like WOW, so i quit after my first try

you have two empty slots, what do you expect to take no damage against a super filled slot?
would you fight an archer with no boots?
would you fight a tao with no magic defense?

your fighting a player with tails and you do not have them, so your seeing the WORST possible thing and not the true potential of them.

you should be fucking thankful they made a quest so everyone can get free ones.

I gotta question.... If TQ is catering to bulkers, then why do they have the quests where you can get an Elite Tower and Super Fan for free?

And they don't even make any big difference. I equiped my super +2 fan and my attack didn't skyrocket or anything, hell it was almost the same.

cause with db u can super the tower and socket both... +go to lotto for stones so u can +12 them :o

BTW - archers got fricking strong with those talismans or its just my imagination? :O

But you do have to admit it was cool of TQ to make it able for everyone to get a super fan and elite tower. Only the lazy people would have to pay for them.

Yeah, one archer got cocky with his and attacked me, but he only did 1 damage so he hauled ass :D

well dude u`re right .. the only thing that can stop an atk talisman is a def talisman ... but u`re damn wrong when u say that we should be thankfull that they made a quest ... why?? 2 things
1. the quest is stupid ... with that shitty snake that respawns too slow ... and with all the noobs that ks`s it ...
2. every1 get`s a elite tower and a super fan .... no + no shit ...
well the tower isn`t as good as the super fan ... (u need something like a super +2 tower to cancel the efect of a super no+ fan) ... and u get a eli one ... not a sup one
also u need 8 dbs to make ur free tower super in mk ... which is lame ... u can buy one from shopping mall for just 6 dbs

so ... the only point in this game for the non bulkers is to work hard with the free talis till they have enough money to buy a super tower and make it at least +4/+5 and 1/2sock with ref gems ....

i have a super tower +4 with 2 sock (still no gem cuz i had no more money but workin` at it till next gw) and most of the archers hit me 1 .... but yeah i was lucky .. i had alot of shitty super whips axes daggers to make the 1st socket and a elite +8 archer hat to make the 2nd socket (20k contribution points needed) but hey ... there`s still hope for the non bulkers ....

also on my server i`m seeing all the ppl trying to socket the free atk talisman ... ffs is the worst thing ever ..... the bulker will have the money to make both talis 2 sock ... u won`t ... fu.ck the atk try 2 survive ... :cool:

And I'll say it again...... The talismans don't make that big of a difference.

Attack and def stats its glitched and u cant see talismans increase / decrease there.

If u equip +5 fan on a naked lvl 15 reborn char u will thunder 2k loads of people. Also same with arrows. So please dont talk if u dont know a shit what u are talking about.

My 2 cents:

I look at it like this, i think its a great addon to the game,
sure bulkers will still beat the crap out of non bulkers.
Always been like that, unless you cheat :p

yet I agree that the talismans are too strong,
Looking at it like this i got the 2 talismans from the quest,
being a 130 archer with super soc 129 +5 boots,
my talismans are not +ed, yet a lvl 120 archer faces me,
My equips, potency are all higher, the only difference is his talismans are +3.
and he hits me for 1300, Now in a way these 3 +'s on each talisman makes the difference between an archer hitting 60-80's or 1300.

I think TQ just made a math mistake but are too ignorant to fix their mistake,
and thus wont have to face all those angry bulkers that spend a lot of db's on the talismans already :)
But hell, thats my opinion :)

I think they will modify something on the archers' attack because there is no reason to use boots if you have StarTower (you get the same dmg with/without your boots).

I agree with few ppl from this topic. It is a bit annoying when i hit only 1.2k on a level 130 tro with 240 potency (i have 219).. I killed them in 3 hits before the talismans. And my noob archer with 211 potency pwns almost every tro:-??
