Solution

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:



1. Make sure the destination hard disk is not heavily fragmented and has plenty of free space available.



2. The account that Backup Exec Services are running under has full administrative rights to the volume.



3. Confirm all of the Backup Exec Services, with the exception of the Remote Agent, are running under the same account.



4. Download the Backup Exec Backup-to-Disk Test Tool to check with basic functionality from the below link in accordance to the system architecture (32 or 64 bit).
