I'm having trouble too, i've done everything good from a guide, but when i open the game, i see the official servers.. i edited the GameSetupIni and the OEM, but it's still showing the official servers.
Anyone help?

the pserver on vista is rly crap .. wont show me in legion all eggs ...
and any1 got a good db ? ... my db rly shit... if i restart server legions will be deletet...

it aint the database its the version of mysql your using. Try find mysql 4.0. your legions wont go poof then

eh Wrong. Its already been proven 5.0 does not work with legions. As for a link for 4.0 check the everything you need to know thread

coding.. right you reversed engineered the existing msg servers by using the existing way out of date source code, only so you could make it work with vista then on top of that you dont have a job? yea sure buddy what dream land do you live in?

On a side note, the new database, acc server, msg server, and npc server run completely fine with vista. FHEo uses a vista based PC for thier our test server and it runs fine
as do we :D works not a problem, only thing that makes people think its incompatible is when they set it up wrong it closes like all the other os will close except vista has a nasty habbit of making a big deal out of a program closing lol
