i know some VB6 wich I'm trying to forget because the Long's and Integers tend to confuse me especially since there's so many VB6 examples out there :p

c++ just looks confusing with all the open and closing tags lol.
now if there was like a "compiler" that made the c++ language more like Vb (wich I'm sure is out there somewhere :p)
I would be learning that :p
Just imagine how the syntax could be simplified, and is possible too
If you use Delphi (Borland RAD Studios) It's basically C++ With a nicer IDE and easier syntax.

Id love to agree on that, but I dont.

Edit:
Alright well let me explain, why I disagree.
Simply because of the more important things like sockets for example are done completely different, Note Im not talking about the regular if string a = blablabla show blablabla
Besides that, the conversion between VB and VB.net can get confusing, Short, Integers, Longs.. Do I need to go on :)
I guess it depends how much experience you have with it too, because by making statements like those I could say C# in VB studio looks like VB.Net, Because of the environment you code in, just because the syntax is a lil different it can still do the same things, Wich kind of also goes for the conversion between VB and VB.Net.
