from what i gathered there is about 300 new quests and level 1-70 will be quest based. Also no gold drops up to 70. To install the client before the OBT launches do the following:
1. Download the file (LMISRO) from the attachments (.NET Framework 4 is needed).
2. Run it and enter the version of the client (which is 4).
3. Install the client.
4. Profit.

If you want to see how the game looks like, you can use a loader to connect to: removed
registration is automatic, just try to login and it will register your account (if it isn't taken).
this isn't the official test server.
can't create Europeans.
only a few (really, just a few) things works.
all characters are GMs (only "~", "/makeitem", "/loadmonster", "/recalluser" and "/movetouser" works).
to test the new item comparison system, hover your mouse cursor on an item in your inventory and hold CTRL.
most Chinese skills works (including AoE and effect related skills), the new Force skills aren't working as they should be working.
only 4 NPCs are "talkable" and only 3 are "marketable" (you can buy stuff from the blacksmith, herbalist and armor NPC, the stable is just for chatting :P)
no teleport
alchemy is working (elixirs, tables and stones)
there's almost nothing new in the client.
I will be leaving it open till the 20th for anyone to test. let me know if it needs a restart, I am not quite sure how well it works.

I should just put " 4 " and close that programm?
For me it still says YOU CAN USE IT ONL YIN OBT, bla bla??

If this is joymax "New level design" they can close this shitty game.

I had a hope for new game look (new graphic design of terrains(new buildings in city, treees or something to make citys more atractive ) and all what they have done its some new quests and some shitty changes ?. Thats a new sro ? with all those programmers and designers they were able to make something "fresh", i have made much more in my "fan made" last dream version of sro than they have done in "revolution", shame on them.

Put only "4", if it ask u to press any button to close - do it ( it should close auto) then just launch the silkroad-r installer, it worked for me. Remember to install .net framework 4 ( i was needed to repair it cuz it wasn't working before).

If you check around many people will try SRO-R and maybe JM will get them back in business. I will give it a try but i don't expect anything ''Revolutionary''. If server gets ''goldbot free'' (including all lvl 1 chars standing in hotan just to make traffic and stuff like that) this server will be win

Maybe JM finally realised that I-SRO is empty and deserted =D

Why is everyone thinkin that thats a new sro? Its just a lame test server.
2 weeks skills test, after that ,4 weeks new leveling system.
