What person u will choose for being Mod For This section ~?

Remember that in order to be a moderator you have to reach the qualifications for it. Not just for being a "nice" person as you said.

i have to say, that i know that a mod position here is more deserve to WorldDj (if he is still active on forum)
when i made my application
i did it to help this community
but at some point, some hater around here gave me some "advices" about being mod
after that, i manage to understand, that if I'm made mod, ill ban those hatter and that ain't good(XD)
last part was kidding, but the fact is that if a mod is chosen, should belong to the proper section(no offense Admins, but other section mods wont help at all here) and well know because of its work

Don't really need someone who is known for his work, could still be an asshole. One person who knows how it works in silkroad section, and ofc is known.

I wanted to apply as a Mod , but no one in the Psro section know me so i would be wasting my time.
And i don't really know what are the qualifications to be a Mod. :D
and ProtalDark like any normal human he makes mistakes and he does stuff right so he is not a total bad person , some of his posts help people.

You should learn english first,Bane was failing with it,but no offense,you fail at it even more. How the hell you want to moderate a section if your english is low and it might cause many misunderstandings caused by your misreading or something like this? Your english has to be decent to understand everything properly as it was meant to be said.

That's right. The most appropriate person and most mature one is silkbotter,he's honest and very straight with his sentences + his english is very good. Another choice would be xclusive. Still,it is the authority(admins) who select the moderator,not you,not me or any other normal member here. Such pools are useles. Bane barely made something on SRO section, he stayed on Shaiya section all time
i can expect ConArtist to be a good mod on SRO section

Your english isn't THAT bad,but it's still not the best and it's not better than Bane's. Not an insult,I'm just giving you my opinion as a potential voter for new moderator. Still,admins select user and such pools won't work.

xclusive is actually british, how can Lowfyr's, a non-native speaker, English be better than that of a native speaker? That's kinda weird, isn't it? :)

Anyway like I said, there is nobody mature enough at the moment, most of the people who are 'trusted' (high post and thanks count) simply spam all day and 'troll' (well, the epvp definition of trolling) around in random topics.

I am afraid even silkbotter is not a good candidate, he may be one of the oldest and one of the more respected members here but I don't think he actually has the personality of a good mod, since I don't think he really cares anymore.

This section has really changed the past few years, and it especially changed a lot since those files got released in public. Now it's more of a place to advertise your own server and trying to make as much money as possible. A couple of years ago, I'm not saying it was perfect then, but people actually cared more and people really shared in those days. Currently this particular section is filled with 80% random questions which can be solved by just reading -any- guide, 5% trolling attempts, 5% attention whoring and 9% random crap and 1% actual useful stuff. The real challenge would be to stimulate people into posting actual useful things, but due to the recent influx of over 9000 'new people' (people who have no idea how the search function works) that last part is going to be hard.

However I am very happy that we actually got a mod now instead of bane, he was just not the right person for this job (this section in particular) but I guess it is indeed time for a real mod, somebody with his/her roots in -this- section.

you are right about we got a mod now, but i was think he's nonactive but he start to moderate from just 5 hours (he got mod from 2 days)
anyway he still don't know wich threads must be moved to the right section
as i see there is many threads of asking and post in [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and need to moves or close
and many spam and negative posts in threads ,,

Let me talk with other way i don't say i need PortalDark to be moderator but i need someone from our section has a good exp about sro and coding and (about server files) and maybe he's kind helpful

I see PortalDark is the only one who needs to be a mod and simple to be a good one as he's know about sro has good exp about serverfiles and kindly helpful

About trusted people so it's not simple as the admins can choose every time the right one , so if we choose a person and he isn't as good as we thing (non trusted) so it's normal ,,

Oky in anyway again we just Need to Make Epvp better for us and for all so we just support epvp with our stuff and etc
